Spooky Photoshop Jack o'lantern Workshop
In October of 2019, we hosted our first workshop of the semester. We wanted to do something festive and fun and created jack o'lanterns in photoshop!
Pitch Ready Prototype with XD
In December of 2019, we hosted our second workshop of the semester. We wanted to showcase Adobe’s fairly new prototype software, and show students how to easily create a pitch ready app prototype!
Attendees played around with demo we provided for them to flow along side without us as we taught variety uses for Adobe XD.
Virtual InDesign Resume Workshop!
In April 2020, we hosted our very first virtual workshop! Due to the unforeseen circumstances, our plans did not go as planned. We planned to have career services present with us and also provide more resources for students that were looking for jobs at the end of the semester. Hopefully in the Fall we can do something similar.
In our virtual workshop we went over the basic principles of design (proximity, alignment, contrast, and repetition) and showed students that they can revamp their plain old black and white resume into a more well designed resume.
